Adam Starr, Senior Vice President, Commercial Brokerage and specialist in real estate solutions for attorneys, was responsible for the following building sale:
* Anidjar & Levine, PA, a law firm serving Florida clients in personal injury law, criminal defense, Social Security disability claims and property litigation, has purchased a 15,017 SF office building at 300 SE 17th Street, Fort Lauderdale, FL for its corporate headquarters in a relocation within downtown Fort Lauderdale. In practice for 10 years, Anidjar & Levine has 60 staff members involved in the move. According to Mr. Starr, the property was selected based on its location, with proximity to downtown Fort Lauderdale, as well as to Broward General Hospital. The new owners plan a full redesign of the exterior, and will be gutting and renovating the entire building with all new interiors. The value of the sale was $2,925,000. Mr. Starr represented the buyer. The seller, 300 SE 17, LLC was represented by E. Clay Shaw, III of Shaw & Company, Inc.

*Life Insurance Settlements, Inc. has renewed its lease of 4,630 SF of office/flex space for its corporate headquarters location within Cypress Commons, 1500 W. Cypress Creek Road, Fort Lauderdale, FL. Life Insurance Settlements is a financial services and life settlements brokerage firm that has been in operation for 22 years. Mr. Silberling and Ms. Geller represented the landlord, Cypress Commons, LLC. The tenant represented itself.

*Bass Automation Engineering, Inc., a 25-year-old marketer and installer of utility monitoring devices, has leased 1,640 SF of office/flex space within Two Prospect Park, 3329 NW 55th Street, Fort Lauderdale, FL in a relocation from Powerline Road in Fort Lauderdale. According to Mr. Silberling, the tenant chose the property because it was newly renovated, well located and because of the attractive economics of the lease. Mr. Silberling represented the tenant. The landlord, KTR Capital Partners, was represented by Chase Kulp and Sandra Anderson of Jones Lang LaSalle.
