FORT LAUDERDALE, FL - Scott Brenner, Esq., CCIM, SIOR, RPA, president/broker of Brenner Real Estate Group, has recently been appointed as receiver for three properties in South Florida. Brenner Real Estate Group is a full service South Florida commercial real estate firm established by Brenner in 1987.
"These three properties stretch from Lake Worth to Miami Beach," says Scott Brenner. "We have also handled receiverships in major Florida markets including Jacksonville, Tampa and Orlando. We are eager to lend our experience to opportunities like these around the state." The receiverships include:
* Winston Pointe - The Circuit Court of the 17th Judicial Circuit in and for Broward County, Florida awarded Mr. Brenner the receivership duties on July 18, 2008 for Winston Pointe owned by Innovative Concept Homes, LLC. The lender foreclosing its mortgage is Mercantile Bank, a division of Carolina First Bank, a South Carolina corporation. The residential townhome complex is located at 1353-1409 Avon Lane, North Lauderdale, FL. Twelve of the development's 29 units are completed with 17 still under construction. Through Brenner Real Estate Group, Mr. Brenner will be responsible for protecting, maintaining and managing the property including leasing and marketing.
* 63 North Beach LLC - The Circuit Court of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit in and for Miami-Dade County, Florida awarded Mr. Brenner the receivership duties on October 3, 2008 for a condominium complex owned by 63 North Beach, LLC. The lender foreclosing its mortgage is Fifth Third Bank, a Michigan corporation and successor by merger with First National Bank of Florida. The condominium development is located at the northeast corner of 63rd Street and Indian Creek Drive in Miami Beach. The development consists of one, six-story building on .45 acres containing four levels of seven apartments per floor over two levels of parking garage. The condominiums are 2/2 units of approximately 1,200 SF with balcony terraces and are currently under construction. Through Brenner Real Estate Group, Mr. Brenner will handle property management, sales and marketing for the property.
* Villas Santorini - The Circuit Court of the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit in and for Palm Beach County, Florida awarded Mr. Brenner the receivership duties on October 1, 2008 for Villas Santorini owned by Bella Vista Development, LLC. The development is located at 4652 - 4665 Santorini Drive, Lake Worth, FL, 2.5 miles from I-95's exit 63 (6th Avenue/ Melaleuca Lane.) The lender foreclosing its mortgage is Fifteen BV, LLC. The project will consist of 34 four-bedroom/three bath townhomes of approximately 2,207 SF, each with a one-car garage. To date, 11 are built, six of which are sold and occupied. Mr. Brenner and Brenner Real Estate Group will provide services including property management, sales and marketing for the property.
