Brenner welcomes back a previous staff member, Linda Schwartz, as Regional Property Manager. Let’s get to know Linda!
Q: Welcome back to Brenner! What have you been doing for the last nine years without us?
A: For the last nine years I have been at a property called Hillsboro Center in Deerfield Beach working for Parkway Properties, a REIT.
Q: How did you find your way back to Brenner – did you call us or did we call you?
A: I found Scott on LinkedIn and reached out for a connection to add to my list… Andrea called me the next day and asked if I would give thought to coming back to Brenner.
Q: You have over 20 years of property management experience. What part of property management do you enjoy the most?
A: I breathe property management, it’s who I am. I love the customer service and construction parts the most, especially the lease tours to meet the tenants and find out their requirements and see if we have a fit for them.
Q: What are your responsibilities at Brenner?
A: I will be overseeing our two projects! Oakbrook Plaza and Palm Plaza and teaming up with the TEAM for Cypress Commons, Atlantic Tower, and Pompano Market.
Q: Tell us three of the “best practices” of property management that you have learned.
A: The best practices are organization…follow up…and big shoulders with a sense of humor
Q: What do you do as a new property manager to let tenants get to know you?
A: I enjoy meeting personally with all my tenants. We are a family and it is always fun talking with them.
Q: Who did you enjoy working with at Brenner nine years ago, why, and are they still here?
A: I loved working with Carla, Susan, Andrea, and Scott too!
Q: What kind of hobbies do you find time for when you are not keeping tenants happy?
A: I am passionate about animal rescue and volunteer on the weekends.
Q: Tell us about your family.
A: I am married to Harvey, have 2 grown daughters, 2 grandsons, 3 dogs and 4 birds.
Q: Lastly, what do you hope to accomplish professionally and personally in 2016?
A: I hope to learn and tackle all the new properties under my leadership and to have fun while doing it. We all work so hard and it should be fun throughout the day!
We love having new/old people become part of our team. Who was the last addition to your team?
