Well, actually this entire week is Administrative Professionals Week – but the emphasis is placed on today.
Did you know that this holiday was created in 1952? It was a way to thank administrative employees who were at that time called Secretaries, and with the labor shortages of the time, to encourage more people to become secretaries.
The duties of an Administrative Professional will vary from company to company. An Administrative Professional could be a woman or it could be a man. What are the usual ways to thank an Administrative Professional? Choose recognition that matches their gender, but here are some ideas:
Chocolate or candy
Take them to lunch
Gift cards and a card
Half a day off? A whole day off?
Without the support of our admin staff at Brenner Real Estate Group, we could not do what we do. We have an amazing team! We want to thank our very special Administrative Professionals:
Beatriz Suarez, Marketing Coordinator
Ilene Nodarse, Brokerage Administrator
Lee Knight, Ambassador of First Impressions
Linda Schwartz, Regional Property Manager
Linda Spence, Property Accountant
Susan Tracy, Administrative Assistant, Property Management
Have you thanked an Administrative Professional today?
