Focus on Community Involvement: BREG’s Leandro Pereira Spreads the Message of “Natural High” Through Riders Club Events

Here at Brenner Real Estate Group staff and employees are highly encouraged to participate in events and causes that benefit the community.  Our very own Leandro Pereira, Commercial and Residential Associate, believes it is important to share healthy alternatives to drugs and alcohol in teenagers. Leandro helps spread the inspiring message to local youth through his involvement in Fury Road R.C., a recreational motorcycle riding club that supports the Natural High Community Awareness Initiative as a platform for impacting the community. What is “Natural High”? Well, it is a national 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to inspire youth to discover their natural high so they have a reason to say no to drugs and alcohol.

One of the initiatives by Fury Road R.C. and sponsored by Leandro that further the non-profit’s mission are weekly Bike Nites. These awesome events are held Monday nights at 7:00pm at the Tilted Kilt, at 3320 Airport Road in Boca Raton. The Bike Nite events build support for spreading awareness of the Natural High educational drug and alcohol prevention curriculum program to schools across South Florida.

We asked Leandro what motivates him to participate in these kinds of events and he said: “Our mission is to change the drug culture here in South Florida and bring awareness to the devastation that alcohol and drug abuse have on families, especially those whose children are dealing with this issue in or outside the home. Most parents are unaware of the challenges our youth face on a daily basis resulting from the constant peer pressure to drink and do drugs, especially at school. The Natural High message and school curriculum is an amazing alternative for effectively changing the mind-set of our youth that finding a “natural high” is the only high that counts – just like riding motorcycles is ours.”

Leandro lives in Delray Beach and he has been a member of the riding club since 2015 and shares the passion all riders have toward life and living life to its fullest.  He and his partners at Fury Road are committed to sharing their message of life, hope and freedom to all people seeking to live naturally high and hope to inspire other people and organizations to join the fight.

Leandro continued, “Fury Road Riders had a tremendous impact at its recent Natural High-sponsored school 'Drug Awareness Event' held at Somerset Canyon Academy in Boynton Beach last month, with over 400 kids attending. The event was tied into a three-week long Natural High-themed leadership course in which the students all participated by sharing their natural high through a variety of creative ways. A featured speaker attended, sharing her story of hope as a former addict, and the impact was incredible.”

According to Leandro, Fury Road is committed to conducting this type of event at schools across South Florida. Parents, school representatives or organizations looking for a drug and alcohol prevention message supported by a national certified curriculum are encouraged to reach out to Fury Road Riders Club for information.
